An ideal candidate would be someone who has worked their way up into a Rail Engineer role, from being a fitter or mechanic … but this is not essential.

A major part of the role is being able to independently research subjects and produce appropriate content for apprentices to be assessed on.

2)You will be trained by the organisation as an End Point Assessor, and will then travel across the country assessing Rail Engineering and Mainrenance Apprentices on-site – performing End Point Assessments – so flexibility to travel is required (mileage is paid)

  • There will also be an option of further training to expand the number of standards (Construnction  / Engineering subjects) that they you potentially assess.
  • Opportunity to gain a level of professional recognition in your area of expertise e.g. Eng. Tech, I. Eng, C.Eng
