This is a an excellent opporunity for an experienced generalist HR professional to join the Leeds based site of an International FMCG Manufacturing company … in  a role where you will use your excellent interpersonal skills to provide a full comprehensive HR service.

You will support the HR Manager with HR Policies and procedures, legal compliance and best practice.

You will provide a proactive, effective professional HR service to the plant and all internal customers.  Responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:

  • Employee administration
  • Monitoring employee benefits
  • Pay queries
  • Providing payroll with employee starter/leaver on a monthly basis Reporting on absences,
  • Working on disciplinary matters
  • Training & Development – making sure the business delivers effective training, specifically within the areas of Performance Management, Career Development and Succession Planning.


  • 5 + years HR experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a large manufacturing environment (desirable)
