Role Overview

• Supporting apprentices working towards professional chef qualifications.

• Delivering practical skills training both in the workplace and at a specialist Chef Academy.

• Home-based working, combined with travel to employer sites across Hull, South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

• Managing a personal caseload of learners and helping them develop their technical and wider employability skills.

No prior teaching experience is needed — just strong culinary skills, enthusiasm for mentoring, and a commitment to helping others succeed.

Ideal Candidates

• Experienced Chefs from professional kitchens (Head Chef, Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie).

• Great communicators with a passion for training and developing others.

• Full UK driving licence holders with their own vehicle (essential for travel).

• Willingness to gain teaching qualifications (fully supported).
