Warehousing Assessor

INTRO

Our client is a national training provider that deliver bespoke training for a wide range of work based qualifications. They worke throughout the UK and have various partnership arrangements with organisations — including Job Centre Plus, for highly focused training services delivering for both the unemployed and employed.

They currently have an Opportunity for a Full-time Warehousing Trainer / Assessor to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Based in Leeds City Centre, you will be  a key member of the team focused on supporting the delivery of Warehousing and Storage. This is a learner-facing (classroom based) role, which ensures learner receive exceptional support and training experiences.

There may also be occasional travel to Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & Wakefield if required (travel expenses will be paid ).

THE ROLE

• Conducting scheduled teaching sessions for learning delivery, assessment, and learner reviews.
• Monitoring and supporting learners in accordance with their Individual Learning Plan and qualifications.
• Maintaining accurate records of learning and progress.
• Providing expert advice, guidance, and support to learners.
• Always ensuring learner welfare and safety.
• Facilitating timely completion of qualifications and courses.
• Proactively resolving issues impacting learner achievement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experience as a qualified Assessor with background in Logistics, Warehousing and Storage settings is essential.
• Teaching Qualification
• A recognised assessing qualification, such as: A1 Assessor Award; CAVA or TAQA
• Occupationally knowledgeable, competent in the logistics area at level 2 as a minimum requirement.
• Strong communication and good IT skills.

DETAILS

• Fixed Term 6 month contract
• Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:30 am – 16:30 pm) / Friday (08:30 am – 16:00 pm)
• Salary: £30,000
