This is a Fixed Term Position until the end of March 2025. Working 20 hours per week over 5 days.

Based in Nottingham, with some travel across the East Midlands. Hybrid working can be considered once established in post.

OVERVIEW

This is an opportunity to join a well established Training Provider in a Part-Time role as an Employment Advisor on a UKSPF (UK Shared Prosperity Fund) project, helping individuals gain the skills needed to move into employment:

Identifying potential candidates via a variety of methods
including engagement with job centres, referral partners and direct applicants.
Carrying out screening and high quality IAG of learners to ensure suitability before enrolling them
Engaging with and progressing participants on project into training, education or employment.
Managing a caseload of participants, providing them with employability skills, support and sign posting to external partners for specialist needs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Applicants must have:

Experience as an employment advisor
Good IT skills and sound knowledge of MS Office
An IAG qualification
A minimum of grade 4 English or Level 2 Functional Skills
Driving licence and own transport

Applicants will ideally have:

Knowledge of the training sector; employability, apprenticeships and funded programmes.
