This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Derby based Training Provider organisation who are dedicated to improving the lives of their learners.
Due to ongoing expansion they are currently wanting to appoint 2 x Learner Support Exectutives.
As a Learner Support Executive you will be supporting employed learners throughout their learning journey. Supporting them with their enrolment onto online courses, checking in with them during their course to conduct a progress review to ensure they are on track or if they require any additional support, then completing their final reviews and assisting in signposting to further learning.
This Enrolment and review activity will predominantly be conducted over the telephone, however there will be opportunity to conduct on-site enrolments at employer premises on occasion.
Experiene of working with learners in an Education or Training setting would be useful, but is not essential.
DUTIES
Enrolling learners onto their courses remotely or in person
Conducting on-programme and exit reviews with learners
Organising additional support with Tutors as appropriate
Managing a caseload, updating electronic records and simple spreadsheets
Flexing priorities between enrolments and reviews as per business demand
Referring learners to other agencies, such as government agencies, learning and training providers or specialist organisations, and advocating on their behalf where necessary
Meeting targets, completing weekly reports and sending to the management team weekly
Undertaking administrative tasks, such as setting up and maintaining client records, conducting audits, recording statistical data and producing claim reports
Ensure the full embedding of all Equal Opportunities policies and Health & Safety requirements including Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners with whom you come into contact
Attend and participate in team and company meetings, as required
Additional duties appropriate to the post as directed by the Project Manager
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish a rapport and work with clients from a range of backgrounds
Assertiveness and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Listening and questioning skills
Ability to work well as part of a team, but also to work independently, using your initiative
Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
The ability to meet targets and deadlines
Administrative skills including writing reports, maintaining accurate records and using IT
Excellent IT skills that include Word, Excel and Outlook
You will be required to undertake a DBS check for this position.
Preferably hold a full driving licence with access to a car but not essential.
