This organisation currently have an exciting vacancy for an outstanding games design and media curriculum manager to join their dedicated team based in East London.

Games Design delivery experience is essential, as most courses are Games Design as opposed to Media.

ROLE SUMMARY

Take responsibility for the successful launch of the world class Digital Future Campus including industry standard training rooms, equipment, VFX studios, e-sports arena and editing suites.
Provide leadership for the curriculum area and ensure high quality provision meeting the requirements of study programme funding.
Lead on ensuring that the area curriculum is project based, inclusive and meets the needs of learners.
Take an active part in activities in your area to improve teaching, learning and assessment including observations, learning walks and actions to address areas for improvement.
Lead your team to ensure that Interval Verification programme is timely and effective.
Plan, deliver, assess and verify L2 and L3 qualifications on the games design programmes.
Plan and deliver exciting games design lessons that support learner progression
Ensure learners are retained, achieve their qualifications and progress
Manage a staff team to ensure effective delivery of our games design and media offer
Complete learner one to one tutorials and individual learning plans
Ensure area courses have a wide range of enrichment activities including guest speakers and trips.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven track record of recent and ongoing industry experience and up to date knowledge of sector trends and developments, including entrepreneurial experience
Skilled and knowledgeable in Unity, Unreal Engine and basic scripting skills are essential to the role.
Skilled and knowledgeable in Blender or Autodesk Maya for 3D modeling and animation (desirable but not essential)
Skilled and knowledgeable in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
Experience of internal verification
Educated to degree level in a relevant area
Qualified to PGCE level or equivalent
Experience of working with 16-19 year olds
Proven track record of supporting learners to be retained and to achieve
Committed to the progression of young people
Conscientious team player with a positive outlook and a keen eye for detail

Permanent Full Time Role
Salary £38,110
32 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (40 in total)
