Working for a national Apprenticeships Training Provider organisation, the Telesales Consultant will be responsible for generating a pipeline of qualified appointment leads for Business Development Managers through their outbound telesales activity, whilst ensuring timely follow up to convert warm leads generated through targeted marketing campaigns.
This will involve employer engagement – contacting employers to promote a range of training and business solutions including Apprenticeships.
This will be a home-based role, and the successful candidate will be provided with a laptop and phone. Applicants should will ideally be Midlands based, as the role will involve occasional travel into the West Midlands Office for meetings.
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS Achievement of monthly/quarterly appointment and lead conversion targets in line with agreed KPI’s Awareness of business development / operational team territories and available sectors to market Generate leads in line with business capacity and competency across breath of sectors/locations Positive approach to employer engagement Tactical and astute in the approach to identify new business opportunities Passionate and driven in terms of delivering against set objectives, whilst maintain excellent level of customer service Ensures learner eligibility requirements are met in line with funding rules and compliance expectations Ensures CRM is being used effectively to record and track activity Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external
Experienced telesales professional with track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast paced environment Proven communicator, with the ability to engage and nurture relationships across a wide range of sectors Competent in the use of technology with excellent IT skills and experience with maximising the potential of CRM system Previous experience in an Employer Engagement role / exposure to apprenticeships or adult education (Desirable) Level 2 Sales / Customer Service qualification and Information Advice & Guidance qualification (Desirabe)
