Based: Nottingham with travel across the East Midlands
Our client is a leading, “Good” rated training organisation who works across the East Midlands region (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire). As an organisation they offer a wide range of Training including Apprenticeships and Employability related courses.
Due to ongoing expansion, they have an exciting new vacancy for a Business Engagement Manager to join their Sales / Employer Engagement Team.
The Business Engagement Manager will be responsible for bringing in New Business, by proactively engaging employers in the East Midlands to promote the Training services offered, including the recruitment of Apprentices.
The successful candidate will generate new business from warm and cold leads, and build relationships with organisations to maximise revenue whilst ensuring that they receive a quality service throughout the recruitment process.
MAIN DUTIES Business to business sales of apprenticeships and new training opportunities to engage with new employers and learners. Researching local employer base and developing employer database to generate targeted marketing campaigns. Making Sales calls and follow-up sales visits, to establish new employer relationships for apprenticeship programmes. Planning employer engagement campaigns and activities (including utilising social media) Management of key employer accounts Contact employers where we have existing opportunities for further opportunities and developing relationships with new employers. Achieve individual and team targets for Apprenticeships starts from new business Conduct employer visits to promote Training services and carry out organisational needs analysis. Attend relevant networking and employer events Perform health and safety checks with new employers, ensuring learners are in a safe environment. Carry out relevant paperwork / assessment duties, including maintaining employer/learner database to produce reports, analyse data and satisfy Ofsted requirements.
As a minimum, we are seeking candidates with: A proven track record B2B Sales Experience of delivering high levels of customer service The drive to achieve company targets The ability to manage your own workload Excellent communication and IT skills A valid Driving licence and own transport
Ideally applicants will have: Previous experience / knowledge of the Further Education sector / Trainng Sector Experience within an Employer Engagement / Business Developmet role, involving the promotion of qualifications and training
