Job Title: Apprenticeship Manager
Responsible for: Assessors and delivery team
V Selective are recruiting for an exciting Apprenticeship Manager role for a Croydon based Education establishment who actively encourage their learners to aspire to achieve their full potential.
The Apprenticeship Manager will work with the Managing Director to co-ordinate, organise and deliver a range of apprenticeship training programmes in line with employers’ requirements and company strategy.
There will also be responsibility for ensuring that the Apprenticeship programmes are delivered in accordance with both the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules and Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
Also to provide line management support, guidance and training to delivery staff so that they can carry out their duties both efficiently and effectively.
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate the engagement of employers to identify their Apprenticeship training needs.
Work with the Managing Director to identify a monthly target for Apprenticeship recruitment including producing a funding forecast to hit company financial performance indicators.
Identify local education, training and skills needs for apprenticeships and to be responsible for ensuring that the company meets its apprenticeship recruitment targets.
Ensure the quality of provision through the implementation of company quality systems and procedures.
Deliver apprenticeship training programmes in accordance with the published IFATE occupational standards and assessment plan, ESFA funding rules and Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework
Ensure the development of new approaches to teaching, learning and assessment in line with national developments and the needs of both employers and learners.
Maintain effective relationships with external organisations such as validating Bodies including End Point Assessment Organisations, the Local Authority, universities, corporate clients, national development agencies and other appropriate organisations.
Teaching and / or Assessing qualification
Personal skills in English, Mathematics and ICT by holding Level 2 qualifications
Evidence of CPD
Educated to degree level or equivalent (Desirable)
Experience and Knowledge
Knowledge and understanding of apprenticeship standards including EPA, IQA and EV requirements
Previous experience of working for a Work Based learning/training provider.
Experience of Ofsted inspection and / or preparing for an inspection
Experience of delivering training/workshops
Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety
Experience of working in the Child Care or Health and Social Care sectors (Desirable)
